We completed a comprehensive roof replacement on this waterfront residence in Gloucester Point. The project involved a full tear-off of the existing material and the installation of a new architectural asphalt shingle system over high-performance underlayment. We paid specific attention to the complex intersections of the roof valleys and the home's existing stone masonry chimneys to ensure a seamless fit. The chimney was a primary concern on this project due to past leak issues. We fully replaced the weather proofing on the chimney including the addition of new fire rated plywood. The new weather proofing installed was EPDM membrane for long term performance.
