We completed a full storm damage restoration project for a home in Austin following significant wind and hail activity. Our crew identified multiple roof punctures and hail impact points across the window screens and fiber cement siding. We prioritized stabilization by installing emergency roof tarps and setting up containment barriers to prevent further interior water damage. To address moisture intrusion, we deployed FLIR thermal imaging and moisture meters to pinpoint saturated areas within the attic and drywall. We carefully removed damaged insulation and wall sections before performing an antimicrobial application to all exposed structural beams. Our team finished the process with high-powered air movers and dehumidifiers to ensure the space was thoroughly dried and safe for reconstruction.
