We installed a backwater valve system in this Toronto basement to protect the property against potential sewage backups. Our team excavated a narrow trench through the existing concrete floor to access the main plumbing lines and install new green PVC piping. After securing the connections, we backfilled the area with aggregate and finished the surface with fresh concrete to match the surrounding floor. Two white access covers were integrated into the new floor patch to allow for easy inspection and maintenance of the valve system.
