We completed the installation of protective metal fencing for an urban tree pit in Washington, DC. We installed custom-fitted, low-profile black decorative metal enclosures around each rectangular planting zone to safeguard the vegetation from sidewalk and street traffic. The process involved precise measurements and secure anchoring to ensure each barrier remained level and structurally sound. These new enclosures provide a distinct, durable boundary for the trees and mulch beds while complementing the surrounding residential architecture. This installation establishes a clean, defined aesthetic for these urban landscape features while protecting them from pedestrian and vehicular interference.
