For this exterior project, Capitol Iron Works installed a single-sided iron handrail specifically designed for enhanced safety and accessibility. To meet the customer’s request for a practical, high-support solution, we fabricated our standard high-quality railing to provide a secure grip on the descent without cluttering the entryway. Built using our durable standard materials—including 1-inch square posts, 1/2-inch pickets, and a molded top bar with a supporting channel—this railing offers long-term structural integrity. The ironwork was treated with a professional-grade primer coat and finished with conventional black paint for a clean, timeless look that blends seamlessly with the home's exterior. Project Goal: Targeted safety and support for exterior steps. Fabrication Specs: 1" Square Posts, 1/2" Square Pickets, and Architectural Molded Top Bar.
