We completed a custom handrail installation throughout this Washington, DC residence to enhance safety across multiple staircases. Our team fabricated and installed durable handrails using cylindrical piping finished in a clean, matte black paint. We secured each rail directly into the drywall using matching circular brackets for consistent structural support. This project focused on improving stability for both carpeted and wood-tread stairs, ensuring a unified appearance throughout the home. By utilizing high-contrast black hardware against the white interior walls, we achieved a modern aesthetic while meeting essential safety requirements. The new railings provide reliable, long-lasting support for daily use in the home's primary transition areas.
