We improved the energy efficiency and climate control of this residential attic space in Chattanooga. We installed Pactiv GreenGuard XPS rigid foam insulation boards to seal off doorways and access points beneath the sloped ceilings. Our team also integrated a window-mounted air conditioning unit to regulate temperatures within the storage and exercise area. The use of high-performance XPS insulation helps reduce thermal transfer through the attic's interior partitions. We also fitted a custom plywood access panel to ensure a flush, secure finish against the existing drywall. These modifications transformed the space into a more functional environment for year-round storage and utility.
