We completed an attic efficiency and climate control project to improve a residential storage and utility space in Chattanooga. Our team installed GreenGuard XPS insulation boards to seal off knee wall access points and attic doorways. We also mounted a window air conditioning unit into a sloped-ceiling window to provide active cooling for the area. To improve thermal performance, we fitted the rigid insulation panels precisely within the door frames and secured them around existing hardware. The project also involved installing a flush-mounted plywood access panel and securing electrical routing for the new cooling unit and lighting. These updates provide better temperature regulation and cleaner access to the home's attic spaces.
