We completed a basement egress window installation to enhance the safety and natural light of a finished living area in Lincoln. The project involved excavating and installing a new window opening along with a durable masonry well. We integrated the new window seamlessly into the existing interior, ensuring the surrounding walls and trim remained clean and functional. The exterior features a textured gray masonry block retaining wall filled with light brown landscaping gravel for proper drainage. We mounted a permanent metal egress ladder to meet safety codes and provide a clear exit path. Inside, the new white sliding window improves ventilation and provides a brighter atmosphere for the basement family room and media space.
