We completed a basement egress window project for a home in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our team installed a new white-framed sliding window to improve natural light and ensure safety compliance in the lower living area. We specifically addressed the exterior access by installing a new window well and emergency escape system. The installation featured a durable corrugated metal window well equipped with a secure egress ladder for safe emergency exits. We integrated a brick-patterned liner and stone base to manage drainage effectively around the foundation while improving the exterior aesthetic. This upgrade transformed the basement into a safer, more functional space with improved ventilation and better protection against moisture.
