We installed a new egress window system to improve the safety and functionality of this finished basement living area in Lincoln. The project involved replacing a unit that showed signs of water damage with a new white vinyl slider window, ensuring the space met building codes for emergency exits. We paired the new window with a durable, dark-textured masonry window well featuring a built-in metal escape ladder and a gravel drainage base. This upgrade provides a secure exit route and increases the amount of natural light entering the subterranean family room and entertainment space.
