We installed a new basement egress window system to improve safety and natural light in this Lincoln home. Our team replaced the existing window with a high-efficiency white-framed sliding unit and excavated for a code-compliant egress well. This project involved securing the foundation opening and ensuring proper drainage for the new exterior structure. The exterior features a durable grey stone-textured liner equipped with a secure metal escape ladder and finished with tan landscape gravel for optimal drainage. On the interior, we completed the window surround with a clean white sill and trim that integrates with the existing basement living space. This upgrade provides a vital emergency exit while enhancing the comfort and value of the finished room.
