We completed a structural masonry project involving the installation of new concrete block wall sections in a Lincoln basement. Our team worked to integrate these new grey concrete masonry units with existing red-painted masonry walls that showed signs of significant wear and peeling. This work focused on reinforcing specific wall segments to improve the overall integrity of the interior space. During the installation, we mounted pressure-treated lumber along the top of the new masonry to secure the transition to the ceiling. We carefully fitted the blocks around existing utility lines, including copper and red metal piping, to ensure a seamless integration with the building's infrastructure. This repair provides a stable and durable foundation for the interior structure.
