We performed a detailed framing and insulation installation for a basement project in Wellington. We installed vertical wood studs and applied a protective vapor barrier across the interior wall assemblies. Our work focused on creating a well-insulated envelope to prepare the space for further development. We used white paper-faced batt insulation to fill the wall cavities and provide thermal resistance. Special care was taken to frame around windows and integrate the moisture barrier with existing structural elements. This setup provides a solid, energy-efficient base for the interior walls.
