We recently completed a comprehensive residential roof replacement for a split-level home in Kensington, New Hampshire. Our team performed a full tear-off of the aging, damaged asphalt shingles, which showed significant granular loss and extensive biological moss growth. After stripping the roof down to the deck, we identified and replaced several sections of deteriorated plywood sheathing to restore structural integrity before the new installation. Our team also addressed attic ventilation and repaired interior framing details to ensure the long-term performance of the roof system. Following the structural repairs, we installed a complete, high-performance roofing system, including synthetic underlayment and architectural asphalt shingles designed to withstand the local climate. We finished the project with a new ridge vent system and precise flashing around the brick chimney to prevent moisture penetration. Additionally, we provided minor deck repairs to improve exterior safety and property value.
