The renovation is divided into two major components: Demolition/Structural Work and Finishes/Functionality Upgrades. 1. Demolition and Structural Work Full Demolition: Complete removal of all existing kitchen elements. Structural Removal: Demolition of an approximately 10-foot wall to create an open concept. Bulkhead Removal: Demolition and subsequent drywall repairs to the ceiling where an existing bulkhead was removed. Hallway Demolition: Includes additional demolition work in the adjacent hallway. Relocations: Adjustment of major appliance power feeds. 2. Finishes and Functionality Upgrades The project includes the supply and installation of new, non-custom materials across the entire space: Cabinetry Upgrades: Supply and installation of new non-custom cabinetry. Upgrade from 30-inch to 36-inch upper cabinets. Installation of crown moulding and cabinet risers. Addition of glass panels in four upper cabinet doors. Inclusion of functional inserts: a garbage pullout unit and a spice pullout unit. Addition of an extra cabinet in the island. Countertops & Sink: New countertops, sink, and faucet are supplied and installed. The island countertop will be extended. Flooring & Backsplash: Supply and installation of new flooring and a tile backsplash. Lighting & Paint: Installation of LED under-cabinet lighting. Includes painting of walls, trim, and ceiling in the kitchen area. This project is a turnkey, full-service kitchen and structural remodel designed to maximize space and modern functionality.
