We completed a full deck replacement for this Pittsburgh home, upgrading the outdoor living area with low-maintenance composite materials. The new deck features rich brown composite planks finished with a contrasting dark accent border, and a custom drink rail along the perimeter for added utility. We built the structure on a solid foundation of pressure-treated lumber reinforced with protective joist tape to ensure long-term stability. The installation included a white railing system with thin black metal balusters to provide a clean, modern look. We finished the project with custom white lattice skirting, providing a polished aesthetic while concealing the underside of the structure. This replacement enhanced the home's connection to the backyard while offering a durable, functional space for outdoor relaxation.
