We completed a comprehensive deck replacement and backyard upgrade for this home in Bridgeville. We began by removing the aging wooden structure and excavating the site to set deep, frost-protected footings. Our team then installed a new pressure-treated frame and a structural ledger board to ensure long-term stability for the new outdoor living space. We finished the deck with low-maintenance tan composite decking and modern white railings featuring black balusters. To address the slope of the yard, we also constructed a tiered segmental retaining wall to create a more functional landscape around the new stairs. This project provides a durable and functional transition from the home's sliding doors to the lawn.
