We transformed the rear exterior of this Jefferson Hills residence by constructing a custom elevated deck and a weather-protected outdoor living area. The project involved building a durable frame supported by new footings, topped with high-performance TimberTech composite decking for long-lasting durability and minimal maintenance. We also framed a gabled roof extension to provide shelter, featuring a sophisticated Versatex ceiling that provides a clean, finished appearance. To complete the structure, we installed sleek white vinyl railings with black metal balusters and added integrated composite stairs to improve accessibility to the backyard. This comprehensive upgrade creates a functional transition between the home's interior and the garden, offering a polished space for outdoor enjoyment in any weather. The new addition was carefully integrated with the existing architecture to ensure visual consistency and structural integrity for years to come.
