Roof Replacement over Original Plank Decking in Fremont, NE
This Fremont home still had its original plank board decking under the old shingles. We tore the roof off down to those boards, checked them across every slope, and then built the new roof on top: an ice and water membrane along the eaves, Tri-Built synthetic underlayment over the rest of the deck, and charcoal architectural shingles to finish. New pipe flashings and roof vents went in at the same time. We hung protective mesh around the house during tear-off so the yard and flower beds stayed clean.
