We performed a detailed structural repair in Carter Lake to address water intrusion and material decay. Our team removed existing deck boards to expose the underlying roof structure, where we found significant deterioration in the OSB sheathing and roofing underlayment. We systematically removed the damaged components and prepared the framing for restoration. The project involved replacing rotted fascia boards, installing new black roofing membrane, and reinforcing the pressure-treated wood joists. We addressed a critical cavity opening and replaced the compromised OSB sheathing to ensure a watertight seal. This restoration restored the structural integrity of the deck and underlying roof, preventing further moisture damage to the home.
