We just wrapped up the initial walkthrough for a full home renovation in Windsor Locks, and there's a solid mix of interior updates and behind-the-walls work on the list. On the inside, the kitchen is set for new light oak cabinetry and tile flooring, and we'll be refinishing the hardwood and parquet floors across the bedrooms and common areas. The basement needs fresh framing and drywall so it's prepped for finishing down the road. On the systems side, we're planning to replace the water heater and update the plumbing and electrical layout in the basement. Outside, the wooden deck and a couple of backyard structures will need some attention too. It's the kind of project that pulls together a modern interior refresh with the technical work that keeps a Connecticut home running long-term.
