We performed a comprehensive mold remediation and specialized cleaning for a residential basement and crawlspace in Watertown. Our team addressed heavy soot accumulation and microbial growth across the concrete block foundation walls and exposed floor joists. To maintain a safe environment, we established a professional containment area and utilized high-efficiency air scrubbers throughout the restoration process. After clearing debris and removing compromised fiberglass insulation, we meticulously treated the masonry surfaces and wood structural members. To prevent future moisture intrusion and ensure long-term durability, we installed a heavy-duty black plastic vapor barrier across the earthen floor. This project resulted in a clean, dry, and healthy foundation space that protects the integrity of the entire home.
