Lead Paint Remediation

A developer is revitalizing “Justice Square” in the heart of Beaufort. This old jail is being renovated, restored, and turned into a small, and very unique multi-family complex. EASE helped by performing all of the friable asbestos abatement, as well as removing and disposing of all of the LBP found to be above the action limit. LBP was removed from cell walls, cell bars, and window bars throughout the building by abrasive (sand) blasting. A special additive was mixed with the abrasive material to enable the team to manage the waste as non-hazardous, realizing cost savings for the Client.
