Abatement level clean of non-ACM vermiculite insulation

After asbestos testing was performed, the vermiculite insulation in the attic was found to have <1% asbestos by weight, which is under the EPA limit of greater than or equal to 2%. Though not required to perform a full abatement protocol, the homeowner wanted to feel protected so EASE removed all material as if it were a friable abatement project. Approximately 1,500 square feet of non-ACM attic insulation was removed safely, in a negative pressure enclosure. Once all insulation was removed, debris was hauled off and properly disposed of, followed by a thorough cleaning of the containment area to meet clearance standards.
