From Dated to Dreamy: A Fresh Take on a Holly Springs Kitchen
Bold Blues & Bright Spaces – A Holly Springs Kitchen Reimagined This Holly Springs kitchen remodel showcases how a strategic update can completely refresh a space without starting from scratch. The original cabinets were kept in place, but we removed and replaced all the doors and drawer fronts with sleek, shaker-style faces—instantly modernizing the entire kitchen. We removed the old corner pantry and the door that once led to the patio, opening up the layout and improving flow. In that newly available space, we extended the cabinetry to wrap around the wall, adding both function and visual continuity. A new built-in pantry was added to match the updated shaker-style doors, creating a cohesive and elegant look throughout. To enhance the openness of the dining area, we replaced the double windows with a sliding glass door—bringing in more natural light and providing better access to the outdoor space. The cabinets were custom-painted in a two-tone color scheme: bold blue for the lowers and classic white for the uppers. The walls were smoothed and painted in a coordinating color that highlights the richness of the blue. Although the client opted to postpone the backsplash installation, the space already feels elevated and complete. We also removed the old lighting and added recessed lights with dimmers for flexible ambiance, along with a new feature light over the dining table. New flooring was installed to tie the space together with warmth and durability. The result is a bright, modern kitchen that feels spacious, personalized, and refined—proof that with the right choices, a partial remodel can deliver a full transformation.
