A Pathway to Elegance – A Classic Kitchen Refreshed with Modern Touches in Holly Springs

In this Holly Springs kitchen remodel, the goal was to breathe new life into the space while keeping the original cabinetry intact. We started by removing all the old cabinet doors and drawer faces and replacing them with clean, modern shaker-style fronts. Everything—including the existing cabinet boxes, doors, and trim—was custom-painted in a crisp white color hand-selected by the client after reviewing a range of samples. To elevate the space even further, we replaced the outdated countertops with new quartz, extended the island slightly for more functional space, and installed a stunning white porcelain apron-front sink. For convenience, we added a countertop button to control the garbage disposal—eliminating the need for a traditional switch. The backsplash was also upgraded to a sleek, modern white tile that adds texture and brightness to the kitchen. Around the island, we installed a paneled surround painted in a bold black accent, creating a beautiful focal point that grounds the space. Additional updates included: Reinstallation of the existing hood after all finishing work Modern black hardware for a refined contrast Fresh paint throughout the kitchen for a cohesive and updated look The existing flooring remained, tying the new elements in with warmth and continuity. This project is a perfect example of how thoughtful upgrades—without a full cabinet replacement—can create a kitchen that feels brand new.
