π‘ From Dual LPG Systems to One Streamlined Renewable Upgrade
This project was slightly different to the norm β the property consisted of a traditional stone building alongside a large modern extension π‘π§±. Previously, the home was running on two separate LPG boiler systems, each serving different areas of the property. After careful design and system assessment, we combined both heating systems into one fully integrated solution π. We installed a single Air 16kW Air Source Heat Pump, now providing efficient heating and hot water across the entire property β replacing both LPG boilers entirely β»οΈπ₯. The key to making this work wasnβt just the equipment β it was the design and application: β’ Correct hydraulic integration of the two systems π§ β’ Ensuring low-temperature compatibility throughout π‘οΈ β’ Balancing emitters across old and new parts of the property βοΈ β’ Delivering consistent flow temperatures for optimal efficiency π By running the system at low flow temperatures, the homeowner is now benefiting from: β Lower running costs π· β Improved seasonal efficiency π β Simplified system operation ποΈ β Removal of LPG reliance π«β½ β Future-proofed property value π β¬οΈ Blending modern renewable technology into properties that span generations takes experience, planning and the right application β and this is exactly where good design makes all the difference. Another property now enjoying clean, efficient heating with one streamlined system instead of two separate boilers. πβ¨ If youβre running multiple heating systems or older LPG boilers, there is often a smarter, simpler solution.
