We replaced the aging skylight at this Barrie residence to restore clarity, performance, and long‑term protection. Our team removed the worn unit and surrounding shingles, exposed the roof deck, and ensured a proper, watertight seal. We prepped the opening with new underlayment before installing a premium Velux skylight. As Velux Certified Installers, we followed manufacturer‑approved methods to secure the new unit, integrate custom metal flashing, and apply high‑grade sealants to prevent future leaks. The surrounding architectural shingles were reinstalled seamlessly into the roofline, maintaining both the home’s aesthetic and its weatherproofing. This upgrade significantly improved interior natural light while restoring the roofing system’s long‑term integrity. Warranty Coverage: All Velux skylights installed by Elsa Roofing include full manufacturer warranty protection, along with our 10‑year labour warranty for installation workmanship.
