We completed a skylight replacement for a residence in Barrie. The existing unit was leaking due to a deteriorated wooden curb and failing flashing components. Our team removed the old skylight, stripped back the surrounding shingles, and exposed the damaged curb so it could be rebuilt properly. We installed a new Velux curb‑mounted skylight, providing a modern, energy‑efficient upgrade with a secure fit. We rebuilt the curb, installed new synthetic underlayment, and applied a full Velux flashing kit to ensure a watertight seal. All surrounding shingles were reinstalled and integrated cleanly into the new flashing system.
