Marietta, GA Deck and Covered Porch Build, Sliding Door Installation, Window Replacement, & more

In Marietta, GA, we completed a backyard transformation. We built a new deck where there was once just a concrete pad. We framed the deck with pressure treated pine and used Deckorators Summit Series decking for the flooring. Using the same Deckorators composite material, we built and installed two new sets of stairs connecting to the right and left side of the deck. The railing was installed using Deckorators ALX Contemporary Railing in the white shade. To add coverage to portions of the deck, we built and installed a gable roof style covered porch with aluminum gutters. The soffit was installed using Hardie Panel, and the fascia was done with Hardie Trim. For the ceiling, we used Hardie Beaded Porch Panel. We also made updates to the back bay window. On the left side, we installed a new double hung window. For the middle, where there was once a picture window, we cut in and framed for a Marvin Essential Sliding Patio Door. On the right side, we replaced the old back door, then cut in and framed for a Marvin Essentials double hung window. Lastly, we replaced various areas of rotted wood and installed new James Hardie siding on the chimney, the entire right side of the home, and a small area above the front porch. We painted the exterior after with Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint.
