Fagone Plumbing, Heating & HVAC was called to a Marblehead home after the air conditioning system stopped functioning properly. Technicians discovered a refrigerant leak above the liquid line on the compressor side and a damaged Schrader core. After brazing the leaking fitting, it was determined the valve assembly must be replaced to complete the repair.
