Pool Surround remodel with retaining walls, new waterfall and water slide

This beautiful Pool remodel took 35 days to complete. We removed the old concrete patio and flagstone coping that would get too hot in the sun. We demolished an older waterfall that was not working properly. We installed a new concrete pad and topped it with 12"x24" large format exterior tile and travertine coping around the pool. We rebuilt the waterfall using chocolate gray stone with a flagstone cap. We tapped off of the waterfall pipe to fee the new water slide. We put a diverter valve in that let's you control how much flow is going to the waterfall or slide. During the project the client really wanted to replace their existing 6x6 retaining walls but the cost was out of reach. The existing 6x6 retaining walls were in great shape so we came up with the idea of building a non structural stone wall in front of them. We left a gap and filled it with stone for drainage. We added new steps to front yard and to their rear deck. We also added channel drains to areas that never drained properly. The clients were so happy they are already asking to do the next project on their list which is a shed bar off of the pool.
