We completed a comprehensive basement walkout installation in Berkey, Ohio, involving extensive excavation and structural site work. Our team excavated a deep trench adjacent to the home’s foundation to expose the lower level and create a functional, safe egress. We installed Redi-Rock Precast concrete foundation walls and a series of tiered stone steps to provide seamless access between the basement and the backyard. The project utilized precast concrete blocks and stone-textured retaining walls to secure the surrounding soil and create a clean, sunken transition area. We layered crushed stone for a stable base and finished the surrounding yard with professional grading to ensure proper drainage away from the residence. The final result is a robust, well-integrated entrance that significantly improves the accessibility and utility of the home’s lower level.
