We conducted a thorough structural and site assessment of the Blackburn Laboratory on the historic St. Elizabeths Hospital campus in Washington, DC. Our team performed extensive interior and exterior inspections to document the condition of the multi-story red brick structures and their foundations. The investigation covered critical architectural elements including decorative stone belt coursing, weathered wooden eaves, and brick masonry. This evaluation provides the necessary baseline for the stabilization, relocation and preservation of these historic assets.
