We completed a residential staircase renovation in Chicago, focusing on upgrading the existing steps with new hardwood stained to match the rest of the home and custom textiles. Our team installed dark-stained wood treads paired with clean white risers to create a sharp, high-contrast aesthetic. We also integrated a textured charcoal grey carpet runner for improved safety and sound dampening across the main flight. We focused on precise fits against the adjacent tiled and hardwood flooring to maintain a clean profile. This update significantly enhanced both the durability and the visual flow of the home's primary vertical transition. This went together with a custom fit area rug in the upstairs hallway to match the stairs.
