Humane Fort Wayne wanted an outdoor space that would not only create a beautiful first impression when visitors arrived, but also provide a clean, functional area for dogs and community events. Natural grass in front of the building struggled to hold up to foot traffic, weather, and regular use from dogs, making it difficult to maintain an attractive and usable space year-round. Our team installed a custom K9Grass area at the front entrance to create a welcoming focal point for the facility. The space now serves as a clean and durable area where staff can bring dogs out for adoption photos, introductions, and outdoor time while maintaining a polished appearance for visitors arriving at the shelter. The area has also become a versatile gathering space for volunteer appreciation events, parties, and community activities. In addition to the main installation, we donated a smaller K9Grass area near the clinic entrance where the facility had continually struggled to grow natural grass. This created a reliable potty area for incoming clinic patients while eliminating the mud and maintenance issues they previously dealt with. By installing K9Grass, Humane Fort Wayne now has attractive, low-maintenance spaces that stay clean, functional, and welcoming for both people and pets year-round.
