We addressed moisture damage within a residential roof system in Frederick by removing the affected plywood sheathing. We performed targeted framing repairs in the damaged areas to ensure structural integrity while keeping the scope of work localized. By focusing our efforts on these specific sections, we avoided the need for a larger roof tear-off that would have resulted in mismatched shingles. This approach allowed us to resolve the underlying water intrusion issues efficiently while preserving the existing roof aesthetic. The repair restored the integrity of the sheathing and framing around the roof penetrations and ventilation components. This focused intervention provided a durable solution that keeps the building envelope secure against future moisture infiltration.
