This was a complex problem to fix. Because of the layout of the roof lines to the wall, snow piles up and the melt water gets up under the stucco. Rather than tear out the flashings, we actually did a second layer of shingles with their own flashing to the outside of the stucco as if it were brick. Now the water has to bypass two separate sets of flashing. Bottom line; this isn't leaking anymore. Sometimes you need to be creative and employ your best understanding of how water moves on a roof and why.
