We completed a full siding replacement on this two-story residential home in Decatur to update its exterior and improve overall durability. Our team removed the aged masonite siding and performed necessary repairs to the underlying sheathing and trim before preparing the surface for new materials. We carefully worked across the upper-level gables and dormers, ensuring a seamless transition with the home's existing brick masonry and chimney. To enhance the structure's moisture protection and thermal performance, we installed high-performance house wrap. We then applied new James Hardie horizontal lap siding and trim in Cobblestone, which revitalized the home's appearance while providing a robust shield against the elements. This project successfully modernized the property's aesthetic and reinforced its long-term structural integrity.
