We completed a full restoration of a mahogany front entry door for this residence in Ocean City. Our team meticulously sanded down the weathered wood surfaces, including the door panels and matching sidelights, to prepare them for a fresh finish. We focused on preserving the natural grain while ensuring a consistent look across the entire entryway. We applied a rich, dark walnut stain to the mahogany wood, highlighting its deep texture and protecting it from the coastal elements. The project involved careful masking of the nine-pane glass inserts and the surrounding light gray cedar shake siding to ensure a clean application. The finished door now features a polished, durable surface that serves as a striking focal point for the home.
