Roof, Fascia & Soffit Replacement by Gassen Construction and Maintenance

Roof, Fascia & Soffit Replacement

Scope of Work: GCM Construction and Maintenance was contracted to perform a full exterior renovation focused on replacing the roofing system, fascia, and soffits for this elegant, European-inspired brick home. The goal of this project was to enhance durability, improve curb appeal, and ensure long-term weather protection for the property. Roof Replacement: The existing roofing materials were removed and disposed of in accordance with local regulations. A high-performance synthetic shingle system was installed, designed to mimic the appearance of slate while providing superior weather resistance and longevity. The steep, complex roof structure, including multiple hips and valleys, required precise flashing and detail work to ensure watertight integrity. Fascia and Soffit Installation: Custom fascia and soffit panels were fabricated and installed in a matte black finish to complement the window trim and architectural style of the home. These elements were designed not only for visual impact but also to provide critical ventilation and protect the eaves from moisture intrusion. All materials used are low-maintenance and engineered to withstand Minnesota's extreme weather conditions. Highlights: Installation of synthetic underlayment and ice & water shield for added moisture protection Black aluminum fascia and vented soffit system for proper attic ventilation Custom trim work around all roof edges and returns to ensure a seamless finish Result: This project transformed the aesthetic of the home while reinforcing its structural envelope. The clean, modern lines of the new roofing and trim work highlight the architectural sophistication of the residence, significantly elevating its overall value and street presence.
