We installed a comprehensive 18kW Generac home standby generator system to provide reliable backup power for this residence. The project involved planning the unit's location, excavating trenches for utility lines, and upgrading the existing electrical service panel with a new Square D load center. We also integrated the system with the home’s natural gas supply to ensure seamless operation during outages. To provide a stable foundation, we poured a custom 6-inch reinforced concrete slab and installed new electrical conduits. Our team also added an Itron digital gas meter and a sediment trap to protect the generator’s fuel system. This professional installation ensures the homeowners have permanent protection against local power disruptions.
