We installed a new Generac air-cooled standby generator for a residential property in Willis. This project involved mounting a 200-amp transfer switch and a whole-home surge protector to the existing electrical system. We carefully integrated the backup power system with the home’s brick exterior and internal breaker panel to ensure seamless operation. Our team performed the necessary trenching to run gas lines and electrical conduits securely underground to the concrete mounting pad. We used an Evolution 2.0 control panel to program the system and verified the installation with thorough multimeter testing of the battery and electrical connections. This installation provides a reliable, automatic backup power solution that protects the home during local utility outages.
