We completed the installation of an Intermatic generator transfer switch surge protector to shield the home’s electrical system from power spikes. Our team secured the device to the brick exterior and integrated it into the existing electrical configuration alongside the standby generator. This addition provides a critical layer of defense for the generator’s control module and the home's sensitive electronics during utility fluctuations. Following the installation, we conducted a full preventative maintenance cycle on the Generac Guardian Series standby unit to ensure total system reliability. We performed a comprehensive inspection of all electrical connections, verified voltage output with a multimeter, and replaced essential engine air and oil filters. These updates ensure the backup power system remains in optimal condition to provide consistent performance when needed most.
