Residential Generac Standby Generator Installation and Electrical Panel Upgrade in Spring, Texas
We completed a comprehensive residential standby generator installation for a home in Spring, Texas. Our team installed a customer sourced Generac Guardian unit on a secure concrete pad and integrated it with a 200-amp transfer system and a Square D Home line panel. The project required extensive electrical work, including the configuration of circuit breakers for critical loads such as the oven and AC systems. To power the unit, we excavated a 23-inch deep trench to run yellow natural gas piping from the existing meter to the generator location. We also mounted a new digital electric meter and transfer switch assembly onto the home’s brick exterior, ensuring all conduits were properly sealed and secured. This setup provides the homeowners with seamless backup power and improved electrical distribution during local grid outages.
