We performed comprehensive preventative maintenance on a 32 kW Generac standby generator for a residential property in Tomball. Our team conducted a full system diagnostic, including checking for error codes on the Evolution control panel and verifying the operational status of the unit. We inspected the internal wiring, electrical components, and the transfer switch to ensure the system remains ready for emergency power needs. The service included a complete fluid and filter change, involving the installation of a new oil filter and a check of the radiator coolant levels. We replaced the spark plugs and tested the battery health using a digital multimeter to confirm appropriate voltage and charging capacity. By clearing the maintenance alerts and resetting the exercise schedule, we ensured the unit continues to operate reliably within manufacturer specifications.
