We performed a comprehensive preventative maintenance service and electrical system check on a Generac standby generator for a residential property in Houston. Our team inspected the internal mechanical components, including the oil filter and battery, to ensure the unit was fully prepared for operation. We verified the total run hours and confirmed the system's current status via the digital control panel and manufacturer specifications. During the service, we tested the electrical output with a digital multimeter, confirming a steady 242.7 volts and a frequency of 60.15 Hz. We also inspected the Generac transfer switch and the Duracell Ultra battery to ensure a reliable power transition during a grid outage. This routine maintenance ensures the system remains ready to provide backup power and operates within required safety parameters.
