Residential Reroof | Architectural Shingles to 26 Gauge Standing Seam Metal | Groveland Fl
Gold Key Roofing recently completed a full re-roof on a residential home in Groveland, Florida. The property featured architectural shingles on both the main house and detached garage, which were carefully removed before installation of a 26-gauge black standing seam metal roof. As part of the project, we used Polyglass MTS Underlayment to provide an additional layer of protection beneath the new metal roofing system. We also upgraded the home’s existing solar tubes with two fixed, tempered-glass skylights: a 2' × 2' skylight and a 2' × 4' skylight over the living room, bringing additional natural light into the home while providing a durable, modern upgrade. To improve ventilation in the detached garage, we installed a solar attic fan to help reduce heat buildup and make the space more comfortable while the homeowner is working inside. The finished project transformed the property with a sleek, durable metal roofing system and thoughtful upgrades throughout. Most importantly, the homeowner was extremely happy with the finished product and can enjoy greater peace of mind knowing his home and garage are better protected from Florida’s severe weather for many years to come. Another quality roofing project completed by Gold Key Roofing — built to protect, built to last.
