Fabric Reinforced Roof Coating

The Problem One of DRS Realty’s properties in Columbus Oh was in need of attention due to seams failing on their weathered EPDM roof. Getting Started After inspecting the roof and doing core samples we were able to see that the insulation board is in good condition and a perfect candidate for our acrylic roof coating system. Solving the problem Once we were able to start the roof project it took about a week to do and was about 12,000 sq ft. We first came and washed the roof so we have a clean surface for our coatings to adhere to. The next step was for us to apply a primer to the old membrane and start sealing up all seams with fabric and basecoat. After that was completed we put fabric and basecoat on the entire roof surface and then we applied our Puma XL reflective white topcoat leaving a seamless, highly reflective, monolithic roofing system to last years to come without the need of exposing the roof to the elements. This project took approx. 5 working days and after completed our customer received an 18-year Warranty for a fraction of the cost it would’ve been to replace the entire roof.
